Data Controller

The Data Controller for this website (davidrozsa.com) is David Rozsa (Individual Entrepreneur, Austria). For data processed inside the native Apple applications, the Data Controller is DRLX LTD.

Data Infrastructure by Platform

We use different infrastructures depending on the platform to ensure the highest level of security and user experience:

  • Apple Ecosystem (iOS, macOS, iPadOS, watchOS): For our native Apple applications, we exclusively use Apple’s CloudKit for data storage. Your data is stored in your private iCloud database, encrypted by Apple, and is inaccessible to DRLX LTD.
  • Web Applications & Services: Our web-based products are deployed via Vercel and utilize Supabase and Railway for database management and backend operations.
  • AI Integration: Certain features of our platform utilize API services provided by third-party technology partners, such as Google Cloud Vertex AI, OpenAI, and Anthropic. Data processing is subject to the respective providers' own privacy policies and enterprise/API terms of service. According to the public commitments of these providers, data submitted through their developer interfaces (APIs) is not used to train their artificial intelligence models. Please note that the Data Controller has no direct control over the internal data management processes of these third-party providers; therefore, their own terms and conditions govern the further use and protection of such data.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to run and measure this site:

  • Communication: Newsletter (Loops.so), Booking (Cal.com)
  • Analytics: Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) – only with your consent. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel Inc.) – cookieless, on the basis of legitimate interest.
  • Security: Vercel BotID – checks whether a human is completing a form at the moment it is submitted; it stores nothing in your browser.

Measurement and cookies

Until you decide, no measurement code runs: the Google Analytics tag is not on the page at all.

If you allow it, the following cookies may be stored in your browser:

  • cookie_consent – your answer to this question. Lifetime: 180 days. Not shared with any third party.
  • _ga – tells a returning visitor from a new one. Lifetime: up to 2 years. Recipient: Google Ireland Ltd.
  • _ga_5WCV4QJF7M – keeps track of the visit in progress. Lifetime: up to 2 years. Recipient: Google Ireland Ltd.

You can change your decision at any time under “Measurement and cookies” in the footer. If you withdraw it, the Google cookies above are deleted and the tag is not loaded again.

Separately from this, Vercel counts page loads and loading speed in aggregate. It stores nothing in your browser: a visitor is distinguished by an identifier derived from the request, which is discarded after 24 hours. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Art 6(1)(f) GDPR, and you can object to it in the same place.

When you take the quiz, a few events are sent to the same place, without cookies: that the quiz started, which branch you chose, that you finished it, and – if you submitted an email address – that you did so. These events carry the branch, the result type and the language of the page – never your name or your email address.

There is no advertising measurement, no profiling and no session recording on this site.

Your Rights

Under the GDPR and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG), you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your data. For data processed in the applications, the UK Data Protection Act also applies. For any inquiries, contact us at hello (at) davidrozsa.com.
